Before sharing more colors and trends from Maison & Objet, I'd like to share another design crush I had when visiting the booth of &Tradition. It's their new Copenhagen pendant lamp designed by Space Copenhagen. The nautical inspired lamp appeals to me with its bold industrial shape and matte finish. There's something about pendant lights that's always "good". Last time I checked we had over a dozen pendant lights in our home. And even though I love the red Ilka Plast lamp in our cinema room, the light source is really annoying because it's always blinding. A big &Tradition Copenhagen lamp in white would be such a nice upgrade!
Look how cosy it looks:
And if you look really well, you'll see which color was a big hit at M&O (and no: black & white are no "real" colors). More about that in the next few days!
Hi Judith, absolute envy going on here that you got to the Maison et Object! I'm a huge fan of lighting so love to see new stuff. I like these, particularly the size. Mel x
p.s impressed with your dozen or so pendant lights!
Thanks Mel! I think you would have loved M&O: so much good lighting everywhere!
Ahh, these look wonderful. I am always so tempted by pendant lamps! But our ceilings are pretty low and my flatmates already have issues knocking their heads on normal lampshades. When I get my own place it's gonna be pendant lamp HEAVEN!
Hahahaa I think will go crazy once you'll have high ceilings! But then: choosing the ones you like best is so tough!! Enjoy ;)
