Oh yeah! Another bathroom renovation update, because things are slowly starting to look like a real bathroom! The plumbing is done, the walls are up and we even have two little circle windows! I think they are the coolest feature yet, not only because I love circles but even more so because they keep our bathroom light and bright.
It looks really narrow in the picture, but it's a rather spacious double shower (1meter wide x 2.4 meter deep):
And see: no more toilet! It moved to the separate toilet room behind the wall on the left! This weekend I filled and sanded the holes in the walls and of course Wally had to check it out:
There's still a lot of work to be done: new floors, tiling, a washer/dryer closet, wall finishes, painting… but this view is really inspiring:
Previous updates are here and here. Funny how quick you get used to a new layout, the old bathroom seems like ages ago… well it really is more than 5 months ago 😉 bathroomrenovation
Blimey! That looks wonderful. I only dream of a wet room, but having 2 showers is just brilliant.
Keep going guys. You'll never look back…
So true, Tina! We rarely look back at other renovation things we did here at home. Until you find some old pictures that remind us of all the stuff we did. Thank you for your support!
The double shower wetroom looks fab. I'm glad things are moving even if slow, you will love it when you take your first shower in it! I can't wait to see it finished. It's looks so great already. xD
Thank you Doris, that's so kind. We can't wait to finish it, but there's still a lot to do. But I think it will be pretty great indeed. Have a great week!
